PAYMENT

Classes can be booked and paid for online via the website https://sophiespilates.com/prices-book/  

Or you can message Sophie on Whatsapp (07799 358 771) to book your place and payment can be made in cash, by contactless card or by bank transfer before or directly after class.

ARRIVAL

Please arrive 5 minutes prior to your scheduled class but no earlier than 15 minutes so as to allow the previous class to finish. This will allow you time to relax before your class begins. Depending on the venue, please be considerate to others by waiting quietly.

LATE ARRIVALS

If you’re more than 15 minutes late for class, you won’t be permitted to join the class.  This is to avoid risk of injury as you will have missed the warm up and the disruption it causes others.  Late arrivals and No Shows will be charged in full.

CHANGE OF TRAINER

This will only occur due to sickness, or booked holidays.  Sophie will notify you well in advance of any booked holiday, and will give the group class or individual a choice between missing the class (for which you will not pay) or having a different teacher.  Although unlikely, Sophie’s Pilates reserves the right to change teachers at any given time without notifying the client.

CANCELLATION POLICY

Cancellations should be made via text message or WhatsApp to 07799 358 771.  Emails are not always picked up on time.

Unfortunately, Sophie does not have the facility to send out reminders prior to class, so it is your responsibility not to miss the class. 

Whether you’ve paid for a drop-in session or a block booking, Sophie’s Pilates cancellation policy is 24 hours notice for group classes, as all her classes are small and there’s no way of filling your space at the last minute.

If you cancel a group session within the 24 hour window you will be charged in full.

If you cancel over the 24 hour window, Sophie unfortunately can’t offer refunds, but you can swap your class for another one within 7 days of your class i.e. you cancel Monday session, but you have until the following Sunday to do another class (it may need to be at a different venue).

If you need to cancel due to sickness, the same rules apply. Sophie can’t offer a refund, but you can swap your class for another one within 7 days of your missed class (again, it may need to be at a different venue). Last minute cancellations will have to be charged in full.

If you need to cancel due to longer term medical reasons, or physical injury, it is important that before returning to class, you have confirmation from your health care professional or consultant to say that it is safe to continue to exercise.  

If you know you have an existing medical condition and are undergoing treatment with another clinician, please ensure Sophie is in contact with them.

The same policy applies to No Shows.

REFUND POLICY

Unfortunately Sophie can’t offer refunds for missed classes, regardless of whether you’ve block booked or booked a drop-in session. The reason for this is Sophie’s classes are small and there is no way to fill your space at the last minute.

Therefore there are no refunds for cancellations made within 24 hours, you will be charged in full.

Cancellations made over 24 hours means that Sophie can swap your class for another one within 7 days of your class i.e. you cancel Monday session, but you have until the following Sunday to do another class (it may need to be at a different venue).

If you are unable to attend classes in a 6 week block booking due to longer term medical reasons, or physical injury, please email or speak to Sophie about how long the recovery period is likely to be. Sophie can then organise a refund for the remaining classes within that block. Please still provide 24 hours notice prior to the first class you will have to miss.

6 week block bookings need to be used within the set time period (6 weeks).  With over 24 hours notice, you may extend it to 7 weeks because sometimes ‘life happens’!
