Team

I’m Sophie, the owner of Sophie’s Pilates (Sophie CC on the timetable). You can find my full story on the About Me page. But basically I teach from absolute beginners through to upper intermediate clients. My passion is to make you feel stronger, more mobile, more confident and to relieve those aches and pains which we get through sport or general daily activities.

Sophie (Sophie GT on the timetable) discovered Pilates as a powerful remedy for improving her physical and mental health. Sophie aims to share the benefits she has enjoyed from Pilates with all her clients, from relieving lower back pain and improving mobility to managing stress and anxiety. Sophie teaches well-rounded classes that encompass balance work, strength and stamina-building with mindful movement.

Rachael is a fully qualified Mat and Reformer Pilates instructor who is passionate about helping people and their wellbeing. Rachael’s classes focus on controlled and precise movements that have a positive impact on both the client’s physical and mental health. She encourages you to listen to what your body needs and offers modifications and progressions when needed. Expect to leave the class feeling better than when you arrived.

Alexia has been practicing pilates for 20 years and she feels very passionate about its strengthening and healing powers.

“Pilates is a great way to increase our understanding of the human body – on both a general and a personal level.

My classes strive to offer rounded work-outs, aiming to improve core and general strength, stamina and balance”.

Imogen first came to Pilates as a teen whilst training as a high level figure skater & it continued to play a significant role when she became a pro contemporary figure skater.

Now she hopes to bring the wonderful benefits of Pilates to all. Expect classes with a calm, caring & concentrated atmosphere, with challenges mixed in. She aims to help you feel stronger & more mobile, whilst improving your general wellbeing.
